I spent some time making a chart of my colored pencils, then scanning the chart and trying to 'pick' the colors to create a digital chart. Didn't work as perfectly as I would have liked, but it's sort of cool, anyway, and it helped me get my pencils in an order I'm happy with. Anyway, in case anyone is interested in the chart I made, here it is - the pencils are not in "Prismacolor" order,  but they are in an order that makes sense to me and makes me happy when I look at it... me who has been putting my crayons and everything else in rainbow order since Kindergarten. If you just want to see the pretty colors, you can look at the pdf version below. If you're interested in customizing my list to fit your pencil collection, you can edit the Word file on your computer.

Other brands you'll see mentioned or coded: DS=Derwent Studio; DG=Derwent Graphitint; Pablo is a line from Caran d'Ache; Blick is from www.dickblick.com. Prismacolor pencils have a PC or LF prefix on their numbers; the LF is their Lightfast line.

I've also included 2 blank charts that can be used for keeping inventory of your Prismacolor pencils. Please feel free to download any of these files for your personal use. However, if you would like to share this information with a friend, please refer them to this link to download the files directly, rather than posting the files to your own site. Thank you!

I use these Global Classic Leather pencil cases from Dick Blick to store my pencils...the collection charted above fills 2 of these 120-pencil cases.
